Bifest [29 Mar 2005|11:53am]

[ mood | jubilant ]

London Bi Event In May 2005

BiFest is a one-day event being held to celebrate and explore bisexuality and related topics. It's on May 14th from 1pm till late, at the London Action Resource Centre (LARC) in Whitechapel - see http://www.bifest.org for address and further details.

The event is open to all bi and bi-friendly people. There will be a programme of sessions in the afternoon covering such topics as coming out as bi, bi activism and the different subcultures that overlap with bisexuality, as well as space to socialise with other bisexuals. There will be a party in the evening with a disco, films and games; come to either or both!

Hope to see you there.

David, Katy, Marcus and Paul. (djm4, katyha, adjectivemarcus and ciphergoth)

(Apologies if you see this more than once.)

I'll probably be seeing him on Monday, and can relay any hellos and so on to him.

BiCon 2003, London, UK - Stop the Press! We've managed to extend the room deadline! [11 Jul 2003|10:03am]

[ mood | jubilant ]

Although today was going to be the last day for booking rooms for BiCon we've been able to negotiate an extension to the deadline with the University of East London, based on the number of bookings so far.

Because so many of you had asked for rooms already we're now going to be able to take bookings for accommodation until the 1st of August.

So, if you hadn't already booked a room and thought it was too late then now's your chance, and if you have friends who haven't but you'd like to share a flat with them then pass on the good news!

The new flats are more of the same - all ensuite with only five people sharing a kitchen. They're still only 27 pounds 50. You don't have to book for all nights - if you just want to have somewhere to crash after the disco or the ball then we're cool with that.

Booking forms are available here.

mmm, nutella [19 Feb 2003|01:39am]

I have discovered that you can get vegan nutella. It's not made by the same company as Nutella, but it's a hazelnut chocolate spread, and the jar is a similar shape. Here's a link: Chocoreale. Googling for the brand name finds places that sell it :)

Useful for any bisexuals you know with dairy allergies.

Spamming is FUN! [26 Nov 2002|10:37pm]

So, basically I'm trolling for editors.

There's now a draft FAQ for the IRC channel #soc.bi. If you haven't already and you have a bit of free time, I'd love some folks to look it over and tell me about any mistakes I've made or Important Questions I've left out.

If you haven't already been to #soc.bi, come join us! Everybody can use a new way to waste time with bisexuals.

Thanks, and sorry for the spam.
